Summary of Position
UPES is strengthening its partnership development capacity to support our plans and we are looking for a Partnership Development Associate who have fundraising experience.
The Partnership Development Associate will work closely with the Director of Partnership to develop effective strategies for financing generation within our existing partnership structure.
The holders of these positions will work with the teams across UPES and other external partners to deliver successful fundraising activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of the partnership and fundraising strategy, as well as the annual plan
- Executing fundraising campaigns
- Identifying prospects and sequencing requests to maximize opportunities
- Establishing, maintaining and strengthening relations with key UPES funding partners, members, the Board of Directors and other external stakeholders
- Developing and managing cultivation activities and high-level events
- Writing and producing compelling major proposals and reports
- Working collectively within the partnership team and across the organization around partner relationships.
Skills and competencies
- An advanced university degree with a minimum of 3 years proven track record of fundraising in an international organization
- Proven ability to meet fundraising targets
- Good knowledge of infrastructure projects sectors
- Excellent written skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a small, multicultural, dynamic team
- Fluency in English

The EMEA Development Associate will work closely with the Director of Partnership to develop effective strategies for financing generation within our existing partnership structure.
The holders of these positions will work with the teams across UPES and other external partners to deliver successful project development activities.

- Supporting the project development initiatives
- Identifying prospects and sequencing requests to maximize opportunities
- Establishing, maintaining and strengthening relations with key UPES partners, members, the Board of Directors and other external stakeholders
- Writing and producing compelling major proposals and reports
- Working collectively within the partnership team and across the organization around partner relationships.
